February was a rollercoaster of emotions for my wife and me. We spent most of the month anxiously watching our daughter study hard for her school entrance exam, and then came the nerve-wracking wait for the results. When we finally logged in to the website and saw the pass notice, my wife couldn’t hold back her excitement and shouted out in joy. We were incredibly proud, and I wish our daughter a great start as she begins this new chapter in her school life.

On the work front, February was relatively slow for me, but it did have its highlights. I had an offsite event where I met a lot of new people, gained fresh insights, and, of course, enjoyed some great meals with colleagues. The relaxed setting was very refreshing !

Speaking of new experiences, I also discovered my new go-to coffee. A new colleague of mine is a huge fan of Blue Bottle Coffee, drinking it religiously every day during the offsite event. Out of curiosity, I decided to give it a try—and wow, it did not disappoint. It’s now at the top of my list whenever I want to go to a café.

Switching gears, another of my favorite moments in February was a simple lunch accompanied with a memorable stroll with my wife around Yamashita Park. The weather was perfect too ! Look at how blue the sky is in the picture !
